Running for office

Molly McGowan | Times-News
GRAHAM – Barbara Howe has taken her run for gubernatorial office literally. The Libertarian candidate for governor has made a point of running a 5K in every North Carolina county by Election Day, most recently hitting the streets of Alamance County’s seat of government Friday night.
“She’s run in 96 (counties) so far,” said Brandon Black, vice chair of the Alamance County chapter of the Libertarian Party. “This will make 97,” Black said, as he waited outside Barrister’s Café for Howe to round the corner and finish her run
